Rifal is an American-Sudanese researcher whose multidisciplinary work bridges academia and creative practice to create accessible and impactful scholarship. Her research fosters an anti-colonial and multidisciplinary methodology (i.e. autoethnography) to interrogate themes like the politics of memory, cultural heritage, anti-imperialism, art and ethics, and the power dynamics between institutions and individuals or audiences - particularly in museums and archives. Additionally, she investigates social movements, resistance, and curation as a form of power, striving to reimagine the relationship between creative work and scholarly impact.
Rifal is currently doing an MA in Visual Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is also one of the admins of KONTEKST Collective.

Sharon is a visual anthropologist who navigates through the intersections of the digital and analog realms to explore the evolving fabric of internet culture. Through experimental short films, she merges together the precision of digital editing with the rawness of analog film, creating works that question our relationship with an increasingly mediated world. With each project, she aims to further explore the tension between the virtual and the tangible, reflecting on how technology reshapes our perceptions, identities, and reality.
Sharon is 2023 graduate of MSc Social and Cultural Anthropology at University College London. She is one of the admins of KONTEKST Collective
