Bio:
Molly B is a visual anthropologist who engages and explores the world using the visual as a touchstone. Molly is interested in the contentious contemporary position of the human in the world, and creatively explores the dissonant binaries of ‘nature’ and ‘culture’, and the potential held in the speculative symbiosis of a ‘natureculture’, explored by Donna Haraway in her writing ‘Staying with the Trouble’. Spanning and intersecting the disciplines of anthropology, art, literature and science, Molly’s work is concerned with creativity through a holistic combination of animism through visual engagement. In her own words, “creativity as a means of knowledge production and the understanding of anthropology have given me the will and grounding to enact social change. Social interaction is a big part of all this, so if you feel inclined please get in touch :)
