Bio:
Arturo was born in Asunción, Paraguay. His artistic practice navigates the intersections of fiction, performance, documentary, and experimental media. His work critically engages with and challenges heteronormative narratives through the intervention of archival materials. He created work with the mentorship of filmmakers and artists such as Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Lucrecia Martel, Manuel Abramovich, and Paz Encina.
Context:
Arturo is a Chevening Scholar and a 2024 graduate of MA Visual Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London where he got to know other KONTEKST members through the academic network.
