This film began by following 3 people, exploring how both 'good' and 'bad' habits can be used as forms of escapism. Yet that left me with the question, can we truly begin to heal from addiction through simply doing what we love.

About the filmmaker:
Born in Glastonbury town, Ishka Weightman (she/her) grew up in the UK festival and traveller culture, surrounded by musical and artistic people, and she has always been drawn to creative expression. Since coming to London to study BA Anthropology and Visual Practice, she has been experimenting with: voice, music, soundscape, photography, videography and art as a way to explore ideas of identity, belonging and community. Her style is often experimental, using layered, colourful and abstract, portraying the complex, multifaceted nature of the human condition.
